Im looking at this interview and this dude talks like he was a 80s king pin
I don't know about street legend, but he had dozens of crazy Puerto ricans that would kill for him. Dont know about now
T.S were serious.
Always knew of TS to ring bells back then. Definitely don't doubt it bein full of a bunch of wild Rican BX nggas, wit affiliations to LKs and any other neighborhood shyt, goin on at the time. IDK about Joe overall tho...
He was just the cash-cow.
From a distance I always took Joe has a dude who was a little hustler around the Bronx but he was around real shooters and dealers who had his back, but Joe wasn’t no punk and would step to you
I always respect them Bronx rappers more than any other borough out in New York
Idk but didn’t 50 make this nikka move to Miami
No he did not. 50 don't even live in NY.
And Roy definitely woulda got stabbed and possibly killed if he swung on Joe.
If ny was a place that rappers had to Check in to like La... joe would probably be one of the rappers you’d like to call
There was a not that long ago on here where multiple different people who claimed to be connected to that lifestyle during that era vouched for joe and said he was as real as it gets
Fat Joe go way back with lots of wild NY gangsters
DmX (more of a stick up kid)
Rae and ghost
All names you heard about before they was known for music
Yup he just older that's it
Hell no, lol. I heard he was tough but nothing anywhere close to a Kingpin type of guy, just a typical street thug
You can kind of tell even without knowing by just listening to his interviews, 80% of the time he is talking about how tough and gangsta he was/is. Gangsters only talk like that in prison, the only people who publicly talk like that in the free world are rapper guys tryna push an image...or old ashy ass washed dudes tryna eat off of their crusty ass old street days.
you do the math.
Mack 10's crew was about to get on Common's head, but Fat Joe basically said "not on my watch".
Common will tell ppl himself that Joe saved him
I think so, I’m sure there’s stories about his past. He was also a graffiti artist.
