It is objectively good beer. Look into how it’s made and the processes they use. It might not be your taste in beer but don’t lie for daps.

Every time I've had a Heineken, it tastes skunky

I hear it's better in brown bottles, but I'm never gonna find out.

You need to shop at higher end liquor stores that get it fresh. Check the date on it. Also, I understand if you go to the Netherlands and drink it :whew:

But any beer tastes like that when it’s old. Also it has to be ice cold.

I've had a few bottles, but for the most part, it tastes the same on tap.

The tap / draft beer isn’t guaranteed to be fresh either. Light, dirty lines, exposure to air etc. can all make it go bad at the tap. Beer is a lot like milk in that if you drink old beer it will not go down well. Check the date. A beer should not be more than a year old. Ideally three months or less.

Its a safe international beer.
With quality you can trust wherever you order it, especially if youre unsure of local choices.

I quit drinking beer because it was just too much for me.
when i did drink beer i liked Heineken. Tasted fresh and refreshing

But these days i prefer bourbon. A single glass is enough for me to just sip on and nurse for the whole evening, get the same buzz, without filling myself up and having to piss every 30 minutes.

Alcohol like any “beverage” has rules … they apply to everything you drink from whiskey to wine. If you don’t follow them you’re going to have a bad time.
