The tap / draft beer isn’t guaranteed to be fresh either. Light, dirty lines, exposure to air etc. can all make it go bad at the tap. Beer is a lot like milk in that if you drink old beer it will not go down well. Check the date. A beer should not be more than a year old. Ideally three months or less.

This reminds me of when I went to Dublin. I scooted over to Temple Bar cos I was like yep I’m about to get Guinness straight from the teat. Tasted like watered down old beer. I was sooooo disappointed. Come to find out I was drinking Nigerian Guinness the whole time.

Hopslam is some good stuff. There's packs just sitting on the shelf at my local supermarket. People buy Modelo and the other basic shyt.

We need more black folks getting into craft beer and IPA's. There's a bar in Harlem that seems to be doing well so maybe people are catching on.

NY has some of the best IPA's. Other Half is the main brewery in the city and I just ordered some from a spot in Albany named Fidens.
