Jigga and Hola Hovito are skips for me.
Celebration. Isn’t there a song with Brandy as well??

Definitely agree with 400 Degreez. I'd also say Get It How U Live over Guerilla Warfare.Lotta nikkas aint gonna agree but
Guerilla Warfare is a contender
Also 400 Degreez(altho Follow Me Now is kinda shaky)
Definitely agree with 400 Degreez. I'd also say Get It How U Live over Guerilla Warfare.
Also, It's Dark and Hell is Hot. No song on Aquemeni is skippable but its got some skippable skits at the end where it's like, just get to the fukking song already.
Illmatic is flawless in every aspect of a rap album
The fact it's only 10 songs (really 9) is a bit of a cheat. Imagine if Cuban Linx, Reasonable Doubt, Life After Death were only 10 songsCuban linx > illmatic
Exactly. Madvillainy is excellent but Operation Doomsday and VV1 are better to me.This is probably easier to gauge in non-rap genres because there's often more experimentation and shifts in sound that a person might gravitate to. For instance, Purple Rain is a perfect album but it's not most Prince fan's favorite Prince album. IMO, Sign O The Times is his best album...but it has a track on there that I often skip (Play In The Sunshine). It's not a trash song or anything but still.
Rap wise...first rapper that comes to mind is DOOM. A lot of people would say Madvillainy is perfect (I'd agree) and is his best album. However my favorite DOOM album is Vaudeville Villain, which definitely has a skippable track (Open Mic Nite Pt.1). I just like how dark and different the album.
Thats what im saying. Those albums are WAY better imo. Twice as long with an over abundance of 5 star tracks. Those albums were even bigger impact wise culturally. Illmatic is like a myth that gets passed gen to gen. Great album but its FAR from perfect being that its half an album in first place. The fact it's only 10 songs (really 9) is a bit of a cheat. Imagine if Cuban Linx, Reasonable Doubt, Life After Death were only 10 songs
"Mamacita"Aquemini has no skippables
"Mamacita"
so you can get to "Liberation".
Spin: Classic Album with skippable tracks.
It's commercial, sold a lot of copies, made Jay a star, and sounds nothing like his debut. Pretty much why The Booth hates it. Anything commercial on The Booth is discredited by default.
