Yeah.

Sure.

The NBA is dying.
Jayson Tatum just signed for 60 fukkin million dollars a year, but the NBA is dying.

This board is gathering the biggest concentration of fukking idiots on the internet.
You’re an nba Stan, and I’m also starting to peep alotta y’all be shytting on the coli for daps

NBA YouTubers, Ex NBA players, fans, nba analysts are all saying the game is falling behind; yet you’re here calling us idiots because we don’t wanna watch this shyt lmao

U talkin bout contracts like that means shyt, there’s players in multiple leagues who done slapped the fukk out a hoe, and is still getting paid millions

Jayson Tatum ain’t getting paid 60m a year because that’s the revenue he helps the league get, it’s because of nikkas like MJ, Bird, Kobe, Curry and Bron

Y’all deadass be on some hoe shyt about this convo, if u upset we don’t like the league tell them to put out a better product

I don't shyt on the coli for daps.

I shyt on people who have shyt opinions.

If you think you're justified to bash a league you don't think is trending in a way you'd like, I am equally within my rights to bash coli posters and coli takes that I think are fukkin horrific.

Go run and tell em that tho.

:unimpressed:

Hopefully. It just seems like they spread themselves too thin. Too many outlets. I don’t see this w/ the other leagues. They’re broadcasting seems more consolidated

NBA ain't going nowhere breh. It's too grandfathered in at this point.

As a fan of baseball you know how many times people have been trying to read tea leaves that the sport was done for?

It's just noise at the end of the day. Simple as that. Something for people to talk about.

I mean...if we keeping it a bean, MMA is no different from the NBA concerning no identity :francis:

  • The fighters have to be well adapt to the styles, rather than having one to be their personal traits (ala the old UFC and fighting in general)
  • Majority of the fighters are glorified billboards with muscles for the company
  • A whole lot of Trump dikklicking in UFC in itself (political landscape)
  • Same entrances
  • Same bland macho promos
  • Same pretending to care for the fighter after beating them
  • Same Dana "fukk THEM GUYS, I AM PAYING MAH FIGHTERS sike promos.
Hell, even ONE FC has the tendency to do this squeaky clean "my boss cares" despite keeping most fighters in bullshyt contracts
College Football pretty dope when I can catch a game tho :ehh:
PRIDE and OneFC definitely have the GOAT intros. UFC has watered down the uniqueness of each fighter. PRIDE had showmanship.
The thing is though I think there's enough beef/drama to keep people interested in watching. Plus maybe there's a bunch of "Just Bleed" type fighters that like the appeal of combat sports.

I honestly don't really find basketball for ME that appealing alongside most other ball sports except football (strategy, almost simulating war) and tennis (agility, dynamic) but I watch it because it's an American past time but I may have just grown out of watching most sports. Speaking of American past time, are people watching baseball like that any more?

Yea but the league does need those signature rivalries and superstar players to carry the league

And right now the slots are pretty vacant

:mjlol:

Nice. I just for some reason associate baseball with boomers and some Gen X types. I have a friend that used to work at Equifax and when I lived in Atlanta would sometimes invite me to the booth to watch games. I just...always had something better else to do :mjlol: I remember seeing the Atlanta Braves winning the World Series and thought it was awesome, but as an elder milleneal I just don't really see most of us checking for Baseball like that compared to Football & Basketball (I still consider MMA niche). But guess I was wrong!
