i hate the 3 point shooting honestly :yeshrug: no team has identity anymore
There's no drama or beefs, which makes any sport exciting. It just seems generic. It's also hard to find a game because content is so sparse across multiple platforms. Also, whether you like it or not, politics in sports isn't really helping them.

I personally watch MMA a lot and college football

It’s not dying, not even a little bit, people are just dramatic. Just signed a record TV deal, had their highest attendance ever last season, team values higher than ever, social media engagement higher than ever

Ratings are down in the U.S. for several reasons but it’s not the first time the NBA’s had a dip. The league isn’t going anywhere
Are people watching as much as before? That the most improtant metric IMO.

No one is watching TV like before (excluding a few exceptions). Even with declining viewership, it's one of the few things people watch live which is why they were able to sign a record media deal.

My team is blacked out half the time. :francis: I need to buy another HD antenna because I only have one and it's on my little CRT TV in the garage.

I mean...if we keeping it a bean, MMA is no different from the NBA concerning no identity :francis:

  • The fighters have to be well adapt to the styles, rather than having one to be their personal traits (ala the old UFC and fighting in general)
  • Majority of the fighters are glorified billboards with muscles for the company
  • A whole lot of Trump dikklicking in UFC in itself (political landscape)
  • Same entrances
  • Same bland macho promos
  • Same pretending to care for the fighter after beating them
  • Same Dana "fukk THEM GUYS, I AM PAYING MAH FIGHTERS sike promos.
Hell, even ONE FC has the tendency to do this squeaky clean "my boss cares" despite keeping most fighters in bullshyt contracts
College Football pretty dope when I can catch a game tho :ehh:

If the viewership is declining, it means they have to find a solution because there is a problem.

Signing a big deal does not mean you're not losing relevance.

There’s only so many different ways to dunk a ball. When they start allowing and1 type styles , then it will be revived. That’s their only hope.

That And1 style as much as I loved and missed them days aged like wombat shyt breh :dead: . Imagine trying to do all those "Half man/Half amazing" moves to a elite shooter that has a passing regime of a military sniper and the reflexes of a cheetah.

Dudes can bust them ankles if they want :francis: .
