When nikkas start blaming The Coli for sports opinions that people all over the internet and outside in real life share, you know there's something to it....

if the NBA is dying, guess who’s getting the blame despite the fact that a white man is running the whole league?

This is why we cant have these threads in TLR. Always some fake militant ass nikkas. People STAY shytting on Adam Silver. He STAY getting blamed. You nikkas are insufferable.

NBA YouTubers, Ex NBA players, fans, nba analysts are all saying the game is falling behind; yet you’re here calling us idiots because we don’t wanna watch this shyt lmao

U talkin bout contracts like that means shyt, there’s players in multiple leagues who done slapped the fukk out a hoe, and is still getting paid millions

Jayson Tatum ain’t getting paid 60m a year because that’s the revenue he helps the league get, it’s because of nikkas like MJ, Bird, Kobe, Curry and Bron

Y’all deadass be on some hoe shyt about this convo, if u upset we don’t like the league tell them to put out a better product

he's not even an NBA, stan, just a Bron stan who likes the Spurs :mjlol:

It's an online only thing. Never heard anyone offline complaining. And I'm not sure who even started the nonsense about 3 pointers being a problem especially when the same thing was praised before.

Remember the NBA is a black league at the end of the day even if the MVP is white. So cacs and c00ns such as Noah Lyles love to trash the league any chance they get

Sports is the only thing on live TV....pointing to the TV deals is misleading. Like previously mentioned in this thread, the TV deals the NBA signs still comes off the backs of MJ, Kobe, Bron and most recently Steph. The latest TV deal isn't rewarding the 3 point era. The next TV they sign they will have to answer for the inferior product, but they have some time to figure it out.

A few on court sticklers like excessive threes, load management, and the next generation of stars not turning heads, but the league just scored billions in their new TV contracts and are still shown in over 200+ countries so they're doing great actually. Not to mention a nice handful of Fortune 500 companies would love to pull Silver away from the NBA and have him run their companies. But unfortunately America will have you thinking the NBA is completely f*cked when this is extremely far from the case.

So imo, yeah its an internet thing along with the NBA broadcast partners -TNT, ESPN- ripping the league to death which gives everyone else the green light and battery in the back to go in on the NBA every chance they get. Now its trendy and the thing to do to rip the NBA. The NFL and MLB also have issues within their games, but people, fans, podcasters, etc. are more cautious and hold back on going ballistic on them 24/7/365 because their broadcast teams don't go overboard and sh*t on the league. The NFL won't speak on anything negative unless they're forced to, like with the Kaepernick situation. In reality the MLB should be ripped to high heavens and beyond with all their issues and changes, but MLB Network and the guys on ESPN will still tell you its the national pastime, show some teary-eyed black and white footage of Babe Ruth, and say its the greatest game since sliced bread.

I LIVE IN A CARDBOARD BOX!
I’ve been kind of getting tired of the NFL. Props to the Chiefs for getting to the Bowl every year and winning (which I’m sure they’ll do again this year) but it gets repetitive after a while. At least there's been a variety of champions in the NBA. In both leagues, it ultimately comes down to who plays the best, and in the NFL, it's been the Pats and the Chiefs.

There are only 195 countries on earth. Is the NBA broadcasting to Martians :skip:

Basketball in the US is on a slow decline, but all sports not named UFC, F1, and NFL are in a slow decline.

NBA just generated a record $10.3B in 2023.
MLB just had its highest WS ratings in 20 years.
College Football ratings are highest its been in 15 years.
WNBA is hottest its ever been
MLS just had a record breaking season in ratings and attendance.

yall just be saying anything.

As a lapsed fan, the best/peak most def was the Attitude Era (sadly saying this since I never cared for that era), but the racks, deals, compelling storylines, and interest in the product in itself is light years ahead of any era of wrestling (thus why most promotion emulate such an era). The decline came 2001 when the competition died (WCW). Even then, the product was hot but slowly fizzled down the decade, including the WOAT years in the 2010s.

Right now, WWE is thriving with Triple H holding it down, but on the real its a slow grind to get back to the place of 98-2000s energy.
