In high school I was 5’11 185lbs maxed around 275 so yes I’m sure there’s plenty of no gut ppl hitting 300+

Of course. At age 39, I was benching 245 (8 reps, 3 sets) at 5'10" 185 lbs, ~ 15% body fat. I was jacked as fukk. :wow:

Another 55 lbs wouldn't have been out of the question if I had stayed on my training.

If I could do it, anyone could.

Every nikka I see at the gym benching over 300 be a lil chubby with extra belly and booty meat

I can say yes you can do it without extra belly...Now the Booty Meat (pause) comes from Squats odds is if someone really cares about fitness they value Squats and deadlifts and as they improve strength have no choice depending on genetics but to develop booty meat...

315 isn't really anything impressive for someone who has been lifting for a few years on a competent program....Also yes having extra weight or shorter limbs or even a belly does help on certain lifts. But don't get fixated by numbers they don't mean nothing if you aren't competing.

I'm 5'8 209LBs right now...I'm generally only impressed by those who can do 1.5 times their body weight on the bench.....The overhead press is what I'm more impressed by show me someone pressing 225lbs and they are beastly.
