is it that hip hop at such an all time low that an album like to pimp a butterfly gets hated on?

There is a possibility that people may just not like it. I know that goes against the idea cuz of everyone sees Kendrick as this "Hip Hop Savior" but just cuz they dont like the album and/or kendrick doesnt mean hip hop is at an all time low

maybe because the album just isn't that good to begin with, why is that so hard to understand?

Straight out the fukkin' dungeons of rap
people not liking the album due to personal preference is one thing.

It's another thing when people straight up lie about the album or about Kendrick, saying shyt like he rambles all throughout the album, or that he's trying too hard to be black (one of the WOAT criticisms ever), or that it's being "forced down everyone's throats" (strong marketing is not exclusive to this album so why the negative connotation?)

I'm not surprised, look at what's popular in rap currently.... TPAB is very different than that. It's a mature album that not for the clubs and turning up.

I can appreciate when a rapper can convey and communicate what's going on in their life at a certain period. You would think after the success of GKMC that Kendrick would be happy as ever but he shows a different, more realistic view of things and appreciate him for going that route rather than trying to create GKMC part 2

Drake fanboys = Kendrick dikkriders.

and the irony of it all is that Drake helped put Kendrick on :laff: Kendrick stans will never be able to live past that.

But of course
Know Yourself
Kendrick is the epitome of mediocrity
Overrate mediocrity and wackness, brehs
Think anyone with respectable hip hop taste who isn't industry says Kendrick is classic, brehs
