Yeah, but it's more in the line of Kendrick being a weirdo his goddamn selfI'm probably hating a little bit, but Lupe's fans always came off to me just a little bit more respectable than the Def Jux fans who truly were a bunch of weirdos but that ain't saying much. Not all of them, you know I can't generalize all of them, but enough of them need to wear that hat anyway. I swear some fans of certain artists come off like they really don't appreciate the music and verbiage as much as they just want to look intelligent and be different.

The only reason Lupe stans drag this album is because they wanted T&Y to get the same amount of acclaim and it didn't. With that being said both T&Y and TPAB are great in their own ways.Album was brilliant, the hate comes from Lupe and Drake stans. The former is composed of internet weirdos and the latter a bunch of lames.

It's a Coli thing
People fukk with the album but the people who hate Kendrick are more vocal
You'll get a random ass Kendrick is wack thread every month
Or some lame ass nikka bumping year old threads to gloat like his opinion is gospel![]()
Of course not everybody gonna like his music but why they feel obligated to attempt to persuade us to change our opinions is me.

No, he's a wannabe Nas to Drake's Jay-Z, trying to be the people's champ and it's working on dummies.

It's not organic though. It's not real.
Kendrick is just as big a fukking huckster as these other guys, if not bigger.
He's simply running the long con on these goofball hip-hop heads that think making boring jazz-infused sleepytime music is tantamount to being some kind of rebel. He quotes some old poems and puts old pro-black photographs on his cover and all of a sudden he's standing up for something. holup...if hip hop is at an all time low..shouldnt a supposedly "good" album be getting cysed like its great?...cause with all this shytty music, nikkas would be searching for something to irrationally put on a pedastal
like...if the top 5 nikkas in the nba all died on a banana boat....and now a nikka like Paul George is mvp and considered that nikka
i say all that to say, the album was boring and repetitive
and as far the overall hate you see on thecoli..you gotta take it with a grain a salt..this is bizarro world sometimes
hip hop been shytty for yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeears now and i think it's a combination of 2 things
SOME people who been listenin' to hip hop longer than pre 2000 have even become immune to the last almost 20 some years of hip hop's shytty years
then the other is, there's a few generations who now have grown up in a world where they didn't come up listenin' to great artists like nas, wu-tang, outkast, scarface, tribe called quest, dre n snoop in they prime, 2pac, biggie, and so on so they only know the last 5 to 10 years of this shyt field era of so called hip hop. they don't know no better
the album was great but i think the nikkas that sleep on it is because they just want music for the club, they not even givin' it a chance really
Excess club music is what killed versatility in black music.
yup and people ridin' for wack shyt more and more
Do anything just to get dancing. Might as well listen to techno music.

Ether in a lot of this. It's not organic though. It's not real.
