To get started download coinbase on either the Apple or Google app store depending on what type of phone you have. Then register an account and simply connect your bank account or debit card to your coinbase account. On coinbase you can buy Bitcoin, Ethereum or Lite Coin.

On a side note, a good stock to invest in is NVIDIA, they design a lot of the graphics processors used to mine crypto coins. The stock is currently at $159.85 and the stock is up over 1000% over the past 5 years. Definitely something to look into to diversify the portfolio.
When I get out of debt, im gonna look into it. From what I understand, NVIDIA's Cuda is big in multimedia, machine learning is a thing, and correct me if I am wrong, there will be
hardware to power artificial intelligence to a greater degree soon. I missed the boat on AMD and seeing their stock rise like I told @mamba it would, so if I cop this new job, I will have
ridiculous income and negligible expenses, so stocks and coins will be an option for sure.

Good post. I'd encourage brehs to get a hardware wallet to store the coins if you're planning to hold rather than trade.

Nope. I invested. I plan to buy more in the future. You can still make money but, had you invested a large enough sum 4 years ago, it would have been life changing money.

This! I could literally be worth tens of millions of dollars right now. :mjcry:

I had the disposable cash to invest. I knew about blockchain's potential from reading a lot of blogs about it. Yet, I ended up throwing more than $20k at a dependable blue chip stock instead. :snoop:

But, I'm ready this time. Already invested in a few cryptocurrencies at low entry points. :sas2:

Currently I have investments in Bitcoin and Neo. I plan on purchasing Ethereum in the near future. The value of a crypto coin is similar to traditional stock meaning it will fluctuate based on a number of factors such as the amount of coins in circulation, cost of living, political climate, etc. That's why the rule of thumb is diversification. Don't ever dump all your money in one investment. Personally, I have a mix of cryptocoins, stocks, treasury bonds, etc. I'm looking to invest in real estate in the near future.

Before bitcoin raised in price this year, I had 50 dollars in bitcoin but I spent 45 on bitcoin mining scam:snoop:
The 5 dollars left over is now 80 bucks, if I didn't touch the 50 it would around 800 now:to:

I invested $200.00 in Snapchat back in March when they IPO'd :snoop:

If I had brought Bitcoin with that instead, I'd have an easy $780 right now

I kick myself thinking about blowing my refunds back in college when $1000 in 2012 would be $300,000 now :to:

There's cats walking about now with serious paper because they got on it 4-5 years ago....there will be another opportunity to jump on though....i'll be on that one.

Yeah definitely invest money in chipmakers or any company connected or associated with the Internet of Things or artificial intelligence and let it sit. You'll see some nice returns. I'm finishing up my MBA in finance and I've learned a lot in terms of how the rich invest and hide assets. Once I get my degree I feel like the sky is the limit.

It never too late to get in on it. Many players in China or farming and places like venezuela are using bitcoin to stoee their wealth due to their goverment regimes.but if you thinking you going to mine it forget,go overseas and setup a farm. You notxl competing with foreigners

That's right. Cryptocurrencies are going to be huge in the developing world.
