In all fairness these shyts ain't easy to buy

U don't know what site to trust, coinbase gets hacked all the time and people lose thousands

Let's not act like there's a simple way to buy Bitcoin/ethereum/etc

Not like forex where u just drop your money and it's available, these sites want u to do complicated bank transactions and there's a lot of people complaining they invested money that left their Bank account and never went to the exchange it was supposed to

And if your money get lost these exchanges don't refund you either

bruh, I read what you wrote. coinbase hasn't been hacked before. The only way people are getting your coins is through social engineering or backdoors on your own [unsecured] devices. And yes I have. You can always send your eth or btc to a separate wallet if you feel unsafe using CB. Trezor offline wallets are an example. I'm just saying is that's it's not as hard to get into all this and start growing your balance as you made it seem in the quoted post.

I use Electrum and Myetherwallet, both free and very secure.

If you're really concerned get a hard wallet like a Trezor

Its not too late, $4100 when this thread was first posted, $7800 today, so easily almost 2x your money. Vertcoin was 50 cents when this was posted, today it's $4.50, almost 10x gain.

Coinbase hasn't been hacked, but you shouldn't keep your coins there anyway, move them to a wallet after purchase

There are better investments to be made. Don't chase seemingly lucrative investments just because they are going up.

I never invested in bitcoin, and even though I can now, it is not in my investment plan.

I "lost out" but not really though.

Used to be 5 or 6 days, just checked and it's 10 days
its instant if you use your debit or credit card, but 4% fee. They are supposed to switch to instant bank transfers for all users before the end of the year.

I am inspired by this thread, I have a pension w/ 5% match, Roth IRA, so I am certainly considering Bitcoin/LiteCoin as the aggressive investment since I have residual capital flowing in to flip into it.
