I wouldn't build a PC right now if I didn't have use for it outside of creative work (video, graphics, etc...)

A decent 3000 series GPU will cost you 200% more than what it's worth due to the shortage right now

Never done any drugs nor hookers. But id rather do both than get fleeced by the current market of electronics.

Those next gen gpus are just as hard to find as the ps5 right now.

Usually no PC gamer would recommend this but you're 100% correct. Because like i said in my post, people are price gauging. I actually might get a prebuilt myself soon. One with a RTX 3070 (3080 ones are too expensive). I plan on just upgrading the PSU (definitely because prebuilt PSU's are too low), NVME, and RAM later. Prebuilds usually lack in those categories, and the CPU is usually decent. When DDR5 release (which is still a ways out) i'll upgrade the whole CPU, and motherboard. Maybe even the GPU.

Nzxt website probably best prebuilt site. Pick the parts u want instead of a generic PSU and motherboard

in the PlayStation thread a few are convinced a ps5 is better than a $1500 gaming PC. Some even had the “play on the couch” thing like u can’t do that with a PC.
