Jokic is fantastic.
I don't know that I'm comfortable saying he's better than peak Steph Curry.

Curry's 2015 season was otherworldly.

But I also think it's a fair question to ask.

That ring last year did in fact separate himself
As a player? Not to me, and this is my problem with ringz culture. It's fukking stupid. Having a ring doesn't necessarily make someone a much better player. It throws logic and reason out the window for hot takes.

By that logic Embid isn't on Giannis or Curry's level which we all know to be bullshyt

Are you stupid lol.. no one holds that 2019 Finals against Steph cause he had injured dudes, but he was out there yelling "I'm back!!" in the playoffs and Warriors fans on some:

"Boguts injury was the reason we lost a 3-1 lead :mjcry:"
Bogut, stephs MCL Sprain, iguodala’s back spasms, draymond’s suspension, you name it :coffee:

I'm taking peak Steph and peak KD because they both were winning and putting up all-time performances.

Jokic hasn't won at the same level as they've (KD and Steph) done in the past. We have yet to see if the Nuggets will ever go on a run of dominance as Steph's and KD's Warriors or even KD's (short-lived) OKC Thunder.

At the moment the Nuggets aren't even the best team in the West and could slide down to 4th or 5th by season's end.

As someone else said we're in what's supposed to be “Jokic's era” meaning the expectation (by the media in particular) is that he snags at least two or three more titles. All the MVPs that his stans keep slobbering over means nothing if he can't extend his trophy collection.

He's more impactful than KD imo.Final 2 mins of a highly contested game 7 in the NBA Finals, I'd take him in the clutch over Steph.I think it was James Worthy who said "If I needed someone to hit a game winning shot, I'd pick Michael Jordan. If I needed someone to hit a shot to save my life, I'd pick Larry Bird" to me, Jokic is the Bird to KD & Steph's Michael Jordan in that statement.I trust him more than KD & Steph.

?????????? KD had to join a 72 win team to get title. What do you mean Jokic hasn’t won at the same level as KD? He didn’t join the Celtics to get a win he beat them instead :mjlol:

I still don’t think he’s better than peak KD but saying Jokic hasn’t won at the same level as KD when KD had to join the best team in basketball history to get a title is insane. Mind you still hasn’t won shyt since leaving

The NBA is easier now than when Durant was in his prime years in the Warriors. This is the weakest defensive era since the 1960's.

Don't forget pre-prime KD took his team to the NBA finals in 2012 and arguably outplayed prime Lebron in that series.
