Is Josh Allen the most overrated QB in the league?

Nah I don't agree, they definitely go in on Allen, Herbert on the other hand gets passes.

Herbert doesn’t get any passes, no one talks about him at all and he isn’t put in top 5 discussions.

If Herbert had anything resembling a top 15 defense the Chargers would likely be the 1 seed in the AFC. The dude isn’t perfect but just like Lamar was never Baltimore’s problem, he isn’t the problem either. The kid has scored the most points since being in the NFL and his defense has given up the most points.

Herbert is basically Watson in Houston but you guys are so obsessed with “leveling” the criticism that black QBs face you’re making yourselves look foolish and hurting the real critiques. He might have cost LAC 2 games following his rookie year.

The way media coddles Allen, Herbert, and Trevor Lawrence is hilarious man. Each of them fukking up in different ways. All of them doing shyt that would convince an org to move on from a black QB.

That first photo is the shyt I be talking about. I see all these white people on social media in Chicago who want Justin Fields gone and bring up his turnovers, but Tyson Bagent has more turnovers than Fields in less games, and they wanna “give the kid more time.”
Mind you, he’s only a year younger than Fields, but I digress.

White QB can throw 40-50 times in a game, end up with like 400 yards, 3TDs, and three turnovers, but they win the game since they have an overall better team. Black QB doesn’t even get the freedom to throw 40-50 times, so he might throw 25 times with a 70% completion percentage, 200+ yards, 2TDs, 75 rushing yards with a TD, and they lose the game because the defense sucks, and they’re like “he’s not the guy!”

I think football discourse has become terrible because in general because too much credit and blame is given to the QB. Football is the ultimate team game where both offense, defense and special teams have to work in conjunction with each other (and I can’t forget about coaching/playcalling either). Now there are a select few QBs who are able to elevate their flawed teams, and then you have some QBs who are holding their team back. However, if your team is good to great, and the QB is just average, you have a chance.

Breh that Bagent shyt blows my mind. Watching the Bears game against the Panthers last week, they spent more time talking about Bagent than the #1 draft pick. At the start of the game they were hyping him up and then showed his stats (3 TDs, 6 INTs) lmao. You got actual Bears fans wondering if he's better than Fields. Granted I don't think Fields is the guy but he has 11 TDs to 6 INTs this season. There's no question he is the better QB....unless you're racist lol.
