Baker slander in here is weird.:mindblown:Media HATES Baker, da fukk are you talking about. People still pull up stats from the Kitchens season to bury him when that was 2 seasons ago.

And idk why u nikkas are sayin Baker, it is not 2019 nobody thinks Baker is a top ten QB

this thread is all over the place, dudes askin how can Lamar be better than Watson and citing Lamar’s playoff record not realizing Deshaun’s only playoff win was vs a Josh Allen led team where Allen was doin watever he could to make sure his team lose

That's what I was saying earlier in this thread. I'm not even a Baker Mayfield fan, but I don't see how people can say he's overrated when I would argue he is THE most criticized and shyt on QB over the past few years.

He isnt as good as he was last year.....lot of QB stats are kinda just luck. A few tipped passes or dropped balls could easily be an additional 4 or 5 picks

He is going to be a 10 year starter but he is definitely regressing to the mean this year somethin serious
:dwillhuh: it's been one game. How can you conclude he's worse based on one game breh?

Josh Allen is just Carson Wentz with a great/healthy O Line and receivers

I think that Herbert cat might already be better than him.

Mahomes, Rodgers, Brady, Russ, Kyler, Dak, Watson all better IMO. He's probably next with Lamar, Stafford, Baker and a couple others. Some of the younger QBs coming up quick Josh will probably be perennial top 10 but he not elite

I don’t know how you can say this after how raw Allen looked when he entered the league. No one thought he would be the QB that he is today. He consistently improves on a year-to-year basis and the leap he made from 2019 to 2020 is something we haven’t really seen before.

Naw Josh allen has been more overrated than Lamar I don’t see how people think Lamar is overrated. He has won a MVP award and has been consistent since he was named starter

Josh has only had a good season. But somehow he’s this GRAND GREAT QUARTERBACK!!!! He’s been compared to Patrick and Rodgers and some think he’s better to have than Lamar

Let this season play out and we’ll see where he stands

Shyt if we wanna be technical Lamar gotta be considered underrated, they made brah the last pick of the top crop.

The hell with him and Lamar honestly

How about teddy bridgewater get his flowers

dude has always been consistent and even coming back from injury he been good

Bridgewater isnt bad but always underwhelming. I'd give more props to Tyrod if we being real

I actually think Lamar is crazy overrated.

Lamar has lots of flaws for an elite QB…major ones and it was apparent all season. The fact that people put him on Mahomes, Watson or Russ level is ridiculous. Plus before last year he was ass in the playoffs and got bounced immediately every year.

I gotta bump this…

Lamar has awful vision and no touch on his passes. He’s going to singlehandedly lose the game tonight

edit: I gotta hold that L…they somehow pulled it off

He's underrated. If Atlanta finishes the job in that 28-3 debacle, this is a totally different conversation.

Nah he's definitely overrated. The QB position has been a complete disaster for the Browns since Kosar was there, so he gets a lot of undue praise. He's a glorified game manager.

Tom Brady is the GOAT because he has spent two-plus decades managing games while excelling in crunch-time situations. It's not the worst thing in the world to be a game manager.

To answer the question, Josh Allen is not the most overrated quarterback in the NFL and would have won MVP last season if not for Rodgers' absurdly efficient season.

As far as Lamar ... at his current stage is a game-breaking talent and an above-average quarterback. He does not play it at an elite level -- based on the previous standards set forth -- but has the talent to redefine those standards assuming he continues to grow as a passer.
