What really matters is that Zo is garbage and if he doesnt improve I hope we get rid of him just like we got rid of DLo who was better than him

3 straight 20 pt games

Something Porzingis or Towns haven't accomplished yet

Bu bu bu but give me Mudiay over him

It was all good in November huh feggits

Still doesn't have superstar potential huh @Malta

This is just the appetizer feggits

This thread I got cooking up :whoo:

If Young Cantstop doesn't stan you, imma shoot you

LWO we ain't got one?

They told me he was too slow to play in this league

#day1stan

#Loading: 21/3/5/4 and 1 turnover on 6-14 shooting in 31 minutes

Sous-Chef: 18/6/4 and 4 turnovers on 6-20(1-10 from 3) shooting :gag: in 34 minutes

Randle: 12/14 on 6-12 shooting in 28 minutes

Draymond: 9/10/9 and 7 turnovers on 2-7 shooting in 32 minutes

Curry was having Dellevedova flashbacks allowing that bum Huertas(who legit might be bottom 5 woat in the league) look respectable with 10/9 and no turnovers. He was looking like prime GP on defense.

outplayed Okafor

12/4/4 vs 12/5/2

but Lakers should have drafted Jahlil right

Theres more to the game than scoring. Theres rebounding, assisting, defense etc... Lonzo is better than Russell at everything else so if he gets his shooting down, and I believe he will, he's the better player. Plus the way he carries himself is better as Russell carries himself as a superstar while not having the consistency of one...

Zo will be nice off-ball, he was great off-ball at UCLA.
Yeah but we not talking potentials at this moment. nikkas saying he's better NOW, which he clearly isnt.

No. Zo fits better in offenses because he doesnt need the ball in his hands all the time. All DLo is, is a scorer. Thats it. And I didnt even want the Lakers to trade him so Im not downing him. But he is what he is. A scorer. Thats it. And he needs the ball to do so...

And just as big as the discrepancy in scoring is there, so is the discrepancy in defense.
I mean DLO was a huge part of the Nets success before his injury and a good part of that was him fitting in Kenny's system. However your jaded view of Lakers DLo was (him being an iso scorer) is affected by him playing for the Lakers. Not suffering from the offensively retarded Byron Scott offense has led to him being one of the better young scorers. But you havent seen enough of him to think he also hasnt been a good playmaker.

I rather have a fantastic on-ball player, solid playmaker, and knock down off ball shooter than what Zo was last year

I think Josh Hart is perfect for what the Lakers are trying to do. Dlo has a higher ceiling but he's got health and maturity issues.
Hart essentially serves the same purpose that DLo would've been with Bron as the main floor general. Id say there's trade off between the two but they'll be doing the same thing. Them also getting cap space and two other promising rookies is a cherry on top
