As a Laker fan and D'Tective stan I get to watch, for $200 a year, D'Tective develop into an All Star guard while My Hart develops into a Championship role player ala B Scott.

Hot takes? did you even watch the games? Lonzo was often out with other players, Ingram missing games was a way bigger deal. The Lakers best stretch had lonzo out and Ingram running point.

The only thing DLO has on Hart is a better inbetween game and is a slightly better passer. Hart is a better 3pt shooter and a better defender. I would take Hart over DLO easily tbh, that's how good he's been from last season to this summer league. Hart has been playing like a lottery pick.

I love My Hart but D'Tective is a much better passer and has superior court vision.

I did like Ingram at the point...esp as he displayed defensive versatility

However, based upon what we saw last season, the draft & SL, our starting lineup should have been

Kuz
Swagner

Stop underappreciating Lonzo...you won't find one other PG in the league capable of averaging 7 boards, 7 dimes, 2 stls & a blk as a rook
