Pre-heat lebron just dominated people inside. He was not shooting more efficiently than Kobe, key word is shooting, but he could finish in the paint area a lot better than Kobe could and that's always been his best ability as a scorer: getting inside and finishing inside.

In the 80's a high volume scorer shooting 50% wasn't out the norm. Entire teams shot 50% in the 80's. There were no zones, less athletic players, awful transition defense, higher pace, more FT attempts leaguewide.

LBJ, Melo, Kobe, Durant, etc. would put up better %'s then.

I'm talking strictly two pointers tho. The league shoots the same on twos now as it did in the 80s, but Kobe only has a couple of seasons where he shot above the league average there.

Yes, dumb ass logic. It doesn't make sense. You can't say someone isn't an elite scorer when they're top five, top ten, in scoring ALL TIME. That's just dumb as shyt. What you're really saying is I don't like the way he scores, it's not pretty/versatile enough for me.
