Three number 1 picks in 13 yearsI don't "know" anything. No other team in the NBA has shown the level of incomptence CLE has. We forget; this same team had TWO number 1 overall picks before Lebron came and couldn't do anything with that. Excuse me if I have a hard time believing any other team would stoop that low.
Apart from the fact that people are delusional? Not much, just reiterating the facts. The Bulls were not going to relinquish that kind of power to a player, not even Jordan. Did it possibly cost them a championship in 1999? Who knows, but the Bulls were never going to let Jordan have power the way LeBron has in Cleveland because they knew Jordan was almost near the end as the top player in the NBA. That is part of the reason why Cleveland is in the shape it is in. I think it's safe to say that the Kevin Love experiment was a mistake and that all falls on LeBron because it's what he wanted. Who takes the blame though? The Cavs will get the blame if it fails because it is generally assumed that they are the ones who had to give the final OK as it is. The Timberwolves should be in a better position to win than Cleveland in 2-3 years and be solid for the next 10 with Towns and Wiggins. Not sure where you are going with this![]()

Still feel that way?Steph is nice butat him being on the level of Bron, Kobe, Mike, or Shaq.
What power has Steph exerted recently?Still feel that way?
He has the power but doesn't use it. He's smart enough to leave that to the people that get paid for that. He doesn't want to be a GM like LeBron. What power has Steph exerted recently?
I used to think like this but I look at my team and I see Steph Curry couldn't didn't even have enough power for Mark Jackson to keep his job. He couldn't even get his little brother a contract with the team besides a D-League gig and Steph is as big as any star outside of LeBron and Durant.

It's one mic. He said publicly he wanted Jax there. That's not the same as going in Myers' office and telling him what to do or else. Nice try tho, good effort. So is oochie wally or is it one mic?

nikka derailed his own opinion and had the nerve to update the thread. So is oochie wally or is it one mic?
At the time he didn't have as much power as he has now, especially now that his contract is coming up. I still don't think that he'd exert it tho. He'd give his opinion but he'd let them decide either way. He wouldn't threaten to leave or sign 1 year deals to hold them to the fire like LeBron is doing. And he damn sure wouldn't tell them who to trade and crazy shyt like that which LeBron did with Love and Wiggins. If Steph wanted MJax to stay and they still fired him, exactly what power does Steph have?
