Yeah, MCU fell off when they felt like DC is not touching them anymore. The quality of all of their films fell off a damn cliff post Endgame and even the Black Panther sequel felt underwhelming. Even the trailer of Guardians of the Galaxy 3 felt weak and uninspiring.

Meanwhile, The Flash trailer took the world by storm and the anticipation for that film skyrocketed.

You ain't even seen the movie yet :pachaha:

you're allowing a film critic to form you're opinion before you even get a chance to do so. :heh:

Plus Rotton Tomatoes and its trolls are historically :mjpls: They wanted the "other variant"

The MCU needs competition. They’ve been on top of the game for so long that they don’t feel like they need to try anymore.

- Black Widow came out way too late. Movie should have dropped between Infinity War and Endgame.

- Spider-man was dope. Easily the best part of Phase 4.

- Shang Chi started off strong but turned into a bloated CGI-fest in the third act.

- The writers nerfed Thor, Hulk, and Strange just to hype up other characters.

- Love and Thunder should have been about Thor vs Beta Ray Bill. Thor is an epic character in the comics (like in the Walt Simonson run for example), but the movies made him soft.

- Multiverse of Madness wasted the Illuminati.

- She-hulk was boring (which is a shame because she’s a fun character in the books, especially the John Byrne era)
- The Eternals? :russell:

- They should have bit the bullet and recast T’Challa… Shuri can’t carry a movie IMO.

- Quantumania should have been a Fantastic Four movie.

- They’re putting out way too many projects at once, and their CGI quality is suffering as a result.

If Marvel doesn’t knock it out of the park with X-men, it’s a wrap. I’m predicting video games will be the next big thing in Hollywood, because this whole superhero thing is starting to burn itself out.

I feel like all of the cool X-Men storylines have been done (poorly) by Fox.

What's left for the X-Men?
