Lol at people juding what's a classic or not based on if THEY like/dislike a certain album - just in general. If so, i can say i dont like album "x" from artist "a, b, c" so that makes it not a classic? Classic has more to do with timing, IMPACT on the culture & things like that. Not what some reviewer said on some magazine. When will some of you wake up and realize that its the entertainment business? Everything is layered. Things go hand in hand. Just cuz a certain album gets critical acclaim doesnt always mean thats what it is..its an INDUSTRY..but thats a whole another story.
Not speaking on Tical, just in general. Like i said, popularity doesnt determine whats classic. shyt, maybe thats why every 2pac album became a classic after he died..why? Because of his name & popularity AFTER he died compared to when he was alive, or maybe Jay-Z financial success after a while made all his albums classics? Smh.

Be in the right mindset for his classics or
Uh Did you even read what I wrote? You got stuck on wording and missed the point. I don't even think we disagree. I said no one made it sound easier and that his flow was basically unparalleled. And people forget how huge he was from 93-99. 93 even before biggie was a somebody. I was just using the biggie shyt as an example. Because biggie with all his flaws often made that shyt seem easy as hell. And method man made keeping up with biggie sound like it was nothing, implying he is one of the best who's overlooked. So yeah technically at the time biggie was ascending to mef's level but that's sort of the point. no one thinks that now.
tical ain't no classic album.
