I can bang out 225 easy and MBJ not built to bench 315. The guys at my gym who bench 315 are easily 260+ lbs. People who think MBJ is massive don't go to the gym often IMO.
I tried to find some but couldn't find any that prove my point for the bench. They all increased their deadlifts and squat by a lot but their bench seemed weaker. The weird thing is i had the opposite problem as in i increased my bench pretty smoothly (i got to 225 5x5 in about 8 months and i was skipping workouts sometimes, not that disciplined) while my squat and deadlift kept plateauing (partially due to a chronic pain issue in my hip due to an injury). But I don't consider myself to have great genetics and never used steroids (only had two protein shakes in my life)."Way less time" you say?

I can bang out 315 at 190 lbs. Granted I am 41 years old and have been working out since I was 14 (also ran sprints in college ). I did take a long break from age 23-27.
Don't have to be 260+, thats just what I see often. Occasionally I'll see a dude with a big upper body and skinny legs benching 315.. But then they'll accuse him of juicing.
If you been working out for 20 years, hell yeah you should be benching whatever you set your goal to. Maybe MBJ is juicing, but to say you NEED to be juicing to obtain that is lacking knowledge of what it takes to be in shape.
