Is Nas being a great rapper only an online thing?

Yes, that's why he tours in small ass venues while HOV is in arenas solo

Lies like a mufvcka. Nas sells out shows in Radio City. Shut the fvck up.

Also, Nas is looked at as a great rapper all across the board. I speak to young cats that knows what's up. Sh!t...one of the best, and commercially successful, rappers of this generation made a song talking about that he let him down and Sprite got him plastered on billboards for their multi-million dollar campaigns.

I think for the larger Hiphop audience outside of forums he's viewed as a legend like too short, Scarface, etc

Meaning people understand he's a legend and respect him as such but as far as really listening to his music and having strong feelings towards him that's relegated to forums

I'm speaking as someone from the south

I never knew Nas was suppose to be some type of god in rap until I signed up on Sohh eons ago

camel has to tour with kanye and his wife to sell out

no one is checking for that 50 year old chump anymore

Act like the MCHG tour didn't exist brehs

So Cal
Ain't heard him on the radio since God's son. Ain't never heard nikkas banging him in cali. People in real life tend not to dikkride nikkas off of what they did 20 years ago.

Yes, Nas does get love and respect from OGs in the South.

Admittedly though it is usually from his older stuff, everything from 2002 and before.

I think OP is right. I can count on one hand the # of nikkas I have seen give Nas his props and both were females:dead:
