They got a very similar discography. They got the classic, a couple good albums, and a bunch of mediocre shyt. Snoop got way better side projects, way better singles, way more charismatic. I'd take tha last meal and the blue carpet over anything nas has done since the year 2000. Jay fall in the same category as well. nikkas getting hyped off of what they did a couple decades ago, i noticed it only works for east coast rappers though.

I'd give IWW classic status but you aren't wrong in your valuation. Both discographies are less than stellar tbh, and the majority of best works were done early on in their respective careers. I just think the talent disparity is a little too high for me to put Snoop in that same bracket.

But you didn't prove me wrong. All i said was he don't get played on the radio. You went on about "real nas fans" and said he doesn't need to be played on the radio.
So because YOU stated, "I haven't heard him on the radio since God's son or never heard nikkas banging him in cali and you feel people in real life tend not to dikkride nikkas off of what they did 20 years ago" makes the question, "Is Nas being great an online thing?" an accurate statement?

When in fact he gets play on the radio (it may not be with the same 18 jams in the a row rotation) but his music is heard in Cali and through other technology sources and everything I posted earlier is not based on what he has done 20 years ago. My response is not a coastal bias one it is one based on reality. Just because you haven't heard it or witnessed it does not make it true. Nas has had multiple concerts throughout the state of California in 2016 alone and has 2 upcoming shows. So nikkas in Cali may not be "bangin him" but they sure are paying to see him perform in concert.

Not a big deal. Snoop did the same shyt and yaw don't give him goat recognition. :yeshrug:
By the way it is a big deal for both Snoop & Nas because 90% of the artist you may hear on the radio today couldn't do it currently or 20+ years later. Nas & Snoop surpassed the odds against them and have proven that longevity and greatness has nothing to do with radio play or nikkas bangin their music in one region of the world. These two men love and respect the culture and that is why both in their 40's are ambassadors to major endorsement deals and are owners of million dollar businesses.

The 20 years ago shyt in referring to is him being a goat contender. nikka has not made any ground breaking music since the 90s. Since the year 2000, there is not one time when he had an album of the year. How is he the goat? In my whole 25 years if life I've only heard one dude say nas was his favorite. That's the point I'm making. Until i joined this site i never seen so many people call him the goat. His shyt got regular radio play until God's son. You don't even live in cali so how the hell you gonna tell me what's being played on the radio?

Also i don't see why you keep bringing the concert shyt up. The nikkas a legend, of course does shows in Cali. fukking ja rule had two concerts out here this week. That shyt ain't a huge deal.

Nas true fans already know the real deal so this is for those who question his greatness based on what they hear online/offline or on radio...LOL!

What makes Nas "GREAT" is that he is never bigger than the culture, so therefore, if his fans are in a small club or large arena that is where he will perform. Nas is still producing quality music that sparks interest today online and offline. By the way, Nas does not need to be heard on the radio because his voice and rhymes are currently being broadcasted in many countries and heard by millions whenever they turn on Netflix and watch "The Get Down" executive directed by, Nasir Jones. There are many others sources that Nas' music is heard.

Here is Nas' GREATNESS witnessed OFFLINE...ENJOY!
Nas (solo) sold out 02 Arena (20,000 capacity):

Nas and Damian sold out Wembly Arena on their Distant Relative tour:

Nas performing at The Kennedy Center with the National Symphony Orchestra:

Nas did not achieve a solo career lasting 22 years and counting, with 8 platinum/multi platinum albums and 2 solo gold albums (not including his platinum album "The Firm", gold album "QBF" and "Lost Tapes") due to a myth that he his "only great online."

i mean...i said Nas is a great rapper....he just gets extra cysed online...i stand by that

I never labeled Nas The Greatest Of All Time. There is NO UNDISPUTED GOAT just a bunch of opinions. Just like having "album of the year" is based on opinion. Nothing is a huge deal when you are not dealing with reality. I don't have to live in Cali to know that Nas' music has been played on Cali radio stations after God's Son. Answer this: Do these people you claim call Nas the goat "only online"...not live in the real world offline? By the way, having multiple concerts in Cali is greater than radio play in Cali. The Cali fans aren't complaining. PEACE!
