Why the fukk would you use red onions though? If anything you might use white or yellow onions to get some flavor in the oil before the rest of the ingredients, and they need to be chopped very fine, not big ol chunks that take away from the fukking dish itself.

ya I used to do that but with yellow/orange pepper but honestly it was even worth the extra effort so I stopped adding it to it
