So when Hov blew up in 98 dudes went back and listened to his previous albums. Once they did it was a overwhelming amount of people to say he was that dude. Whether people thought so or not by 98’ Hov was labeled the best rapper in the game by huge portion of the game including his peers.

ready to die is easily the most overrated "classic" in hip hop......trust me it was PLENTY of folks who thought Juicy, Big Poppa and One More Chance were corny as hell....I used to hit the stop button on the VCR recording everytime those vids came on
