Is the Forum finally dying?

Reddit at least has variety. You come here and it’s the same people every day making the same threads and same topics. Moderators are trash and whoever owns this site is running it on a budget. They cut registrations off because they didn’t want to pay for more server space. And this site is littered with cheap ass ads. thecoli.com is literally on an island stuck in 2015.

The owners gave this forum the bushes treatment years ago.

There was one person suggesting making an backup site a few months ago, but most of the poster was talking about staying on this dying ship

I actually think it's probably in other people's best interest that a mostly black male forum doesn't continue to exist and thrive. Hence no upgrade, hence no new people. Probably posters also here to steer things in certain directions or introduce inane topics that'll take down engagement.

Alot of folks have gotten older too, so some of the things that hold their interests have changed and matured.

Changes could have been made to make the site handle more people. The members have the money and expertise for that. The ownership is no longer engaged and might have ceded control to someone else.

The site is solely owned and controlled by a black man, Brook. He's the only admin on the entire site.

He just doesn't give a f*ck. The one upgrade the site got was because members contacted Brook directly and damn near had to beg for it. That was like 3-4 years ago.
