i think the players enjoy it...it gets them hyped up. the crowd gets hyped up. the clippers DJ keeps Staples rocking every time I go. the Clippers came out to "DNA" the day after it came out on Game 1 of the playoffs....the crowd went crazy.

players have no choice...arenas do it to please the fans.

when tickets don't sell they do all that corny shyt to draw casuals to the game

I don't see it as a problem tho The music and entertainment are a part of the overall experience of the games now. It's not just about the game, there are sponsors and giveaways and games tied into it as well

Just because something IS doesn't mean it OUGHT to be that way

I, personally, think its too much and needs to be pared back

The NBA was trying to appeal to more casual fans with that shyt, and now its gone too much in one direction

NBA sound engineers stay doing the most with these 10 second snippet of songs all game long..Just goes to show you how boring and generic the game has become that they resort to all these sound effects to keep fans engaged...I tried to watch a game last night and ended up just cutting it off and watching a movie instead (mind you I have a Bose surround sound so NBA games are extra annoying hearing random trap beats while trying to pay attention to the game itself )


It kills me the most when a team is getting blown out in the fourth quarter and the sound engineers still continue with the same playlist and sound effects.
