Sounds like you're rotting in nostalgia

Rap doesn't need any of that

The music Fire and more creative than ever

Rotting in nostalgia just because I miss dope video and actual rap groups? :dwillhuh:

I liked J. Cole and Kendrick albums

But I don't really see much creativity or anything fire on the horizon.

Recommended some rap that's dope and creative that we haven't mentioned yet

I liked his mixtape and his debut was cool

It wasn't mind blowing

I respect that. His mixtape blew me away for real. Mostly because of the production, his voice and overall aesthetic.

What was the last hip hop project to blow you away? Not "oh that was aight." I mean like: "yo.... this is the one of the best things I've ever heard."

Damn it's been a while :ehh:

TPAB blew me away but it's not an album I'd listen to over and over

No mixtapes recently but some single tracks have

Like Codeine Crazy is one of my favorite songs if the past few years

:dahell: How's that possible?

How can something blow you away and not have replay value?

Damn it's been a while :ehh:

It doesn't have to be recent, or even within the last 10 years.

I just wanna know the last project that really did something you loved.

I like to listen to ratchet music while I go to the gym

It's not made for that setting

Future gets me hype

Future is RnB music, and respectfully doesn't answer my question.

You can't recall a single recent-ish hip hop album that had a slew of incredible tracks? When was the last time you felt something profound for this hip hop genre?

I've got my group of artists Im interested in: Kanye, Kendrick, Killer Mike and El-P, Drake, Schoolboy, Rocky. Maybe some J. Cole and Krit too. The Roots to because they always give make something good. So that's like on average, maybe 3 hip hop albums I listen to a year? Yeah, I'm pretty much bored of the genre. Most of the new rappers are lame and I don't like Future or the people that rap like Future. Not hating, just not my thing.
