Thee most "ahead of it's time" jersey of all time

So wonderful, they'll never look dated
Damn right that jersey looks like it came out yesterday. Especially the black version
Agreed 100 pct that these jerseys were off the chain. Disagree however, that they'll never looked dated. The 90s had this weird fetish with diagonal stripes & text... a trend that probably starts with this Suns design

Ahead of their time and trendsetting? Absolutely.
But looking back in 2015 at all the diagonal action of those Suns unis, the Terminator 2 styled font, and the overall size of the logo (especially the blast zone around the basketball), does it scream 90s? Totally.
I personnaly never liked the other jerseys you posted, even back then. The Suns jersey "scream" 90s because we know they came out at that time, but that doesn't mean they aren't hot still.
I mean look at the brand new Clippers jerseys that is so 2015 :

you can't tell me they're better than those Suns jerseys. shyt they're even worse than last year's Clippers jersey![]()
Agreed 100 pct that these jerseys were off the chain.
When did I say anything about not liking the jerseys?Show me where I said they're ugly or even dissed them... I even started my post by saying
I posted those jerseys to show that the Suns design helped set the stage of what was to come for the rest of the decade, not for "OMG, look how ugly all these 90s jerseys are" purposes.
Those Suns jerseys scream 90s because tons of jersey redesigns during the era contained big, cartoony logos, big, cartoony font, diagonal striping & placement, and bright pastels. The Suns jerseys contained all those elements.
You may like them even to this day, so do I, but to let your bias say they aren't dated when the main 4 elements of that era's jerseys are boldly placed all over dem sh!ts is disingenuous at best.
As for your non-sequitous question regarding those Clips jerseys, I'm scratching my head because I don't know how it applies to the discussion considering I never criticized the aesthetic value of the Suns one![]()
Why you mad breh? I just answered by saying that I don't know why you bring other jerseys that weren't nice even back then, so the "nostalgia" factor or the "scream 90s" doens't make sense to me. Who cares if other jerseys were inspired by the Suns' one, they're still not as fresh. And it's not because something was hot in the 90s that it's automatically nostalgia. There's trash jerseys being made right now (the example I gave, but there are others) and that Suns jersey shyts on them.
Nikka wtf is wrong with your reading comprehension? Everything you've replied to me with is an absolute non-sequitor to the point I made about how the 90s Suns jerseys defines jerseys of that era.
You out here erecting strawmen all over the yard just to tell me the Suns jersey is still hot, a point I BEEN agreed with, yet I'm the one who's mad?
I'm done with this discussion... Jesus H. Christ at the daily dose of IQ deficiency one encounters in this place![]()
