Is there a mass exodus of people from GSDG to iPhone?

@midwesthiphop

I'm sitting here reading the 9/9/15 Apple event thread and seeing a lot of folks are jumping ship like me.

What are you guys' main reasons? I wonder if we all have similar issues.

For me its the Android updates completely ruining my phone. I can't get consistent performance and my phone is constantly lagging and restarting. I did a clean wipe and it's the same shyt. Also, these LG and Samsung phones seems to be cheaply made.

For all the tech specs and shyt, Apple just provides a more stable experience. I had the first iPhone, guess I'm coming home now brehs.
I jumped ship when the 6 Plus came out a year ago

Main reason was because of the android lag

Most android phones become a pain to deal with after 6 months or so

Only reason i was still fukking with them was because of the Notes screen size

Once the 6 Plus dropped i was done with android

Still have my 6 Plus over a year later and it runs like it did the first day i got it

fukk Android

6P better be trill or I'm taking my talents to Cupertino and joining Apple.

I'm kind of stuck with droid though since I ported my number over to google voice a few years ago. Doubt that Google's implementation of it on ios is as good as it is on droid. :sadcam:

Voice on iPhone works, but it's outdated looking. The other Google apps are damn good though. They just don't directly integrate as deep into the OS like on Android.

Whoever isn't getting a device that gets pure Aandroid lost. I'm on that Nexus wave until it dies. Google fukked up with ending their GPE program. A Note 5 with pure Marshmallow would have been :ohlawd:

Yep. They dropped the ball hard on the Nexus 6. Hopefully the two new phones fix the two things Google can never get right on the Nexus series (camera & battery)

I feel sorry for anyone who hasn't experienced that Nexus 5 (2013), pure Android lifestyle.

I don't think I could ever buy a non-Google branded phone again.

after all the years of tinkering around with android I've come to the conclusion that the iPhone just flat out does the essential everyday things better and more consistently. The updates, the accessories, and the quality of the hardware on top of that makes it even sweeter.
the iPhone is designed to be a product for normal end users. Android is a product designed for tech heads and developers.

The iPhone is one device on the OS platform. Android has to count for too many different hardware configurations. It's insane that my dual core iPhone 6s with 2 GBs of RAM and a 1715 mAh battery can give my 8 core Galaxy S6 with 3 GBs of RAM and a 2550 mAh battery a run for it's money and typically gets better overall battery life than the S6.

I feel sorry for anyone that has :scust: that every phone is what pushed me to the iPhone in March. I'm NEVER leaving iPhone, I love this shyt. Couldn't pay me to use an android ever again. RMBP, iPhone 6s, Apple Watch, Apple Music... :blessed: might cop an iMac to make the cypher complete.

I see my girl use her iPhone 4s on iOS 9.0.2 and it still runs decent...that's impossible on android. Imagine running the latest android os on a galaxy s2. Battery would probably die in 1 hour and run laggy as hell
