the suit shyt is extremely overrated though. Id rather see those kids winning math and engineering competitions.

Having been to two of these events, I've met men that were blue collar brothas, some that were entrepreneurs, in STEM, and some community organizers.
Not all of them, but they came there to congregate over something positive. It's a step in the right direction.

It also introduced me to IG pages like @theblackmancan and @thedadgang which shows positive Black male images as well as @blackwealthrenaissance

I'm not knocking the dudes for getting dressed up, but there is zero context here. Are they networking? Are they doing community outreach? Are they mentoring young black boys? Neither the tweet nor the OP provides any context.

Think about the message this sends. With no additional context, you are basically saying that the bar is so low for black men that all nikkas have to do is put on a suit and it's a 'positive image.' :comeon:
