I regards to the sub discussion that Black boomers hate Hip Hop. I know boomers HATED 50 Cent when he was in his prime for example. Black youth loved 50 but the old heads 
Keep in mind that in Black boomers youth Black music as a whole was clean and family friendly. Early years of Hip Hop was too but then NWA blew up and cursing and musicians being street nikkas (or pretending to be street nikkas) become the norm in Hip Hop. From my experience some Black boomers felt the same way Delores Tucker did about Hip Hop.
Jay Z did a interview with his mother on 60 Minutes years ago and she straight up said she didn't like him cursing in his music.
Modern day pro athletes don't get hated on like rappers do. For example, no old head Black men I know hated Mike Vick for that dogfighting shyt
