Not questioning black America. It’s like saying black America loved 2pac, but damn near all boomers hated hiphop
Then who loved it breh? :dahell:

Boomers would’ve been 30-40 or so. You don’t think Pac/hip-hop had a lot of fans that age? :dwillhuh:

The youth, teenagers and people in their 20s. But that’s another discussion.

Ehhh, people were dragging him for being with his girl when he was going hard for his girl. Then they started to clown dude when he was trying to defend her.

The most likable people have folks who unconditionally cheer for them, even if they more not making the best decisions.

In terms of likable: Magic Johnson, Peyton Manning, Yao Ming, Julio Cesar Chavez are generally loved by most people wherever they go.

Steph Curry is near the top of that list. Then it’s probably people like Payton Manning. It’s gotta be players who were great, but not GOAT great, and not for a powerhouse that people hate.

If you are in GOAT tier then people will dislike you simply because your name is being compared to who they consider the GOAT.

Like Derek Jeter wouldn’t count because while nobody has anything against him, and he was solid, he played for the Yankees so he can still kick rocks.

I regards to the sub discussion that Black boomers hate Hip Hop. I know boomers HATED 50 Cent when he was in his prime for example. Black youth loved 50 but the old heads :usure:

Keep in mind that in Black boomers youth Black music as a whole was clean and family friendly. Early years of Hip Hop was too but then NWA blew up and cursing and musicians being street nikkas (or pretending to be street nikkas) become the norm in Hip Hop. From my experience some Black boomers felt the same way Delores Tucker did about Hip Hop.

Jay Z did a interview with his mother on 60 Minutes years ago and she straight up said she didn't like him cursing in his music.

Modern day pro athletes don't get hated on like rappers do. For example, no old head Black men I know hated Mike Vick for that dogfighting shyt :mjlol: Cacs were  about them dogs but the Black uncs didn't care about that shyt :pachaha: I remember Tony Dungy being one of Vick's biggest supporters after his time in prison.
