No black culture/music in the last century has been as strong and touched so many people like hip hop. FACT.

nikkas in countries you ain't even heard of across the globe may not listen to those other art forms, but I guarantee they bumping that hip hop shyt and will still be in another 40 years time. We created a powerful movement like no other, so shut ya mouth and respect the architects.
you're out of your mind and need to do some research, and ill leave it at that. even techno and house (both black, but midwestern) have a bigger following globally than hiphop.

rock and roll which is black and southern, also comes from the south, again, educate yourself.

man you making NY look hella bad right now.

do you know where jazz. soul and rnb come from? :what:

you NY nikkas must be trollin at this point. gotta be.
new yorks contribution to these artforms are way bigger than the souths contribution to hip hop. We actually helped those genres improve and move along. The south though...................................

lmao @ these ny haters man for real ya still don't get it really . we can be past our prime but I bet ya this in reality if the south is runnin the game man its a sad day because even it its good times the south or west will never be mentioned like new York who started dis shyt n left many many trends that nikkas don't wanna admit they follow... the south and west can be runnin shiit but lets be real this generation has nothing that will be remembered like what ny was doing in the 90s really ...:umad: ... keep hatin though like somebody said new Yorkers r use to haters lol

replace new york with white, to see how absurd that claim is. jewish record labels putting people on wax, is not a bigger contribution than actually being in a barn and creating something from scratch via pain and struggle. stoppit. your ancestors are turning in their graves.

you wanna put some numbers up? pop is not hiphop, so don't link those 2 together. I live abroad and I know whats playing the radios out here, its not French Montana, or Kendrick or Trinidad James for that matter.

You're boasting hiphop to be a lot bigger than it really is, I've been around this planet, its not as big as you'd think. Esp compared to something like rock and roll, soul and jazz. All which came from the south.

I would destroy this nikka lyrically myself no lie :laff:
:mindblown: If that's the case, then you should be signed and touring the world while getting praises from Pharrell, RZA, Prodigy, and just about a good chunk of the industry.

Instead you're just posting on here wity everybody else. :patrice:

Maybe it's time that you log off and share them rapping skills with the world breh.:shaq2:

Stop it. Blacks have been in new York for a minute and changed the sound of those genres by infusing our culture into them

we can put numbers up. Hip hop is in movies, language, fashion, art, style etc. Theres wildstyle graffiti on trains in rome/Europe. Theres absolutely no comparison hip hop is a sub-culture it goes beyod what people are listening to in clubs

I dont see the connection most artist that contributed were black. And hip hop had a very humble grass roots beginning aswell whats your point

Trinidad James is apparently set to release his manifesto about New York City today. The “All Gold Everything” performer sent out a series of tweets over the weekend announcing he will be releasing a project called The Truth Will Set You Free specifically addressed to New York rappers and fans.

To Every New Yorker. On Monday “The Truth Will Set You Free” comes out. No album…Just the truth. You gonna want to look and listen to this. God is my witness I had to pray about this. This is what you wanted so I gave it to ya. The Real.

Kendrick accidentally opened a new lane of kicking new york while there down to generate buzz and new york artists are so desperate for a buzz they'll bite at anything...
