you're out of your mind and need to do some research, and ill leave it at that. even techno and house (both black, but midwestern) have a bigger following globally than hiphop.

rock and roll which is black and southern, also comes from the south, again, educate yourself.

man you making NY look hella bad right now.

yeah breh, house, electrionica, dubstep etc is much bigger globally than hip hop. that is a fact

Thats cool....But as I said...No one cared that Quik dissed The Bronx...He wasn't allowed any shine because of it. Quik was considered low tier and thats how he was treated....His words got no shine unlike today when someone who should be considered low tier gets overhyped shine for their words of disresepect aimed at NY. Also, Quik back tracked when he went on Yo MTV raps and performed Jus Lyke Compton and said that the 'Bronx' was 'just Lyke Compton' as he was nervously singing the chorus.

**snorts 49seconds***

Breh, u do realize when tim said fukk compton, everybody on the east coast was quiet and didnt ryde with him, they heard it but nobody sided with him, them nikkas knew it would be problems the next jack the rapper, them new york nikkas knew tim was on verge of gettin his ass beat.

New Yorkers knew who quik was gunnin for, not one person stood up for tim neither, when snoop n dre and cmw rode with quik on tim, quik didnt fukk with nobody prior to tim dogg dissin him.

Quik LACK OF SHINE came from him signin 2 a washed up new york label, Profile blackballed alot of shyt did or was trying to do. quik's impact may have been bigger had he took that million from eazy in 1990, before quik could even signed they threw 6 figuers at him and sent cease and desist letters to eazy in order to bring quik in. Quik signed Eazy still offered to buy out the contract.

Quik was considered low tier because he had rap-a-lot type of promotion. Quik and 2nd II none were the only ones on profile movin units, Profile was functioning like Run Dmc mattered, Profile had 2 acts that should have been bigger than they were, Quik and Camp Lo, Profile would not let quik eat with the bigger names in the West, eazy got sued when he dropped the penthouse playaz album,

quik had to settle to working with acts in the west like the juvenile comittee, shello and candyman and shyt, it wasnt until suge threw his muscle around, that got quik out his profile contract and free to work with anybody he pleases without havin to use David Blake

tim dogg had been handled and check a whole month prior to the mtv performance he even let it be known, nothing bout his performance was nervous

Trinidad James is apparently set to release his manifesto about New York City today. The “All Gold Everything” performer sent out a series of tweets over the weekend announcing he will be releasing a project called The Truth Will Set You Free specifically addressed to New York rappers and fans.

To Every New Yorker. On Monday “The Truth Will Set You Free” comes out. No album…Just the truth. You gonna want to look and listen to this. God is my witness I had to pray about this. This is what you wanted so I gave it to ya. The Real.

Kendrick accidentally opened a new lane of kicking new york while there down to generate buzz and new york artists are so desperate for a buzz they'll bite at anything...

I don't see the problem with NY rappers responding even if some are irrelevant.....cause we know damn well the hypocrisy would come out if there where crickets, nikka would be calling NY soft and spineless left and right....
Trinidad clearly the one desperate for attention/buzz....he is one of the biggest gimmick industry plants we've seen in minute so at the end of the day there's no need to take him seriously in the first place:manny:.....but like you said Kendrick open new doors for these type antics to be amplified and ironically Trinidad was one the cats kdot called out....

He outsold 99% of ny rappers at the time tho?

Talking out your ass, House music has only truly had a new re-emergence in the last 5 years or so, for a few years in the late 90's it was a niche market, same thing with techno.
