well, let me put it like this, because semantics is tricky in this situation.
Say Reke gets a 4 year deal worth $25 million per year. That is more than Beal who has a max contract. Its not Reke's max because he been in the league for 8 years.
Chandler Parsons had 2 knee surgeries and missed a lot of games the season before and he got a max deal. Think about that.
Greg Monroe signed a max contract.

Everyone's max is different and it changes yearly with the cap. He will get a contract that will be worth more than some max deals that were signed two years ago. Also, some players are damn near making max money, they just on one year contract like Redikk. So lets be clear....Reke's true max would be upwards of 30 mil and of course he aint getting that because as we said, he is not a superstar, he has been injured, and he is 28.....but he should be able to bag a deal somewhere in the 22-24 mil range which would be more his real life actual max.
