Now who else wanna fukk with Hollywood Court?
Big men who can shoot is not new. Lambier could shot a long range jumper. I will say more do it today. The coaches job is find a strategy. Compare it to the NFL. Big receivers makes teams draft big corner etc

Nah, it's different, Laimbeer shot the three towards the end of his career and he didn't take it at a high volume, the most he made in a season was 57. There are currently 14 power forwards that have made over 50, and 3 centers that have made more than 45, you drop Kristaps Porzingis off in that era and they'd be like :wtf: is this guy.

Imagine the :gucci::mindblown:of the seven footers back then having to guard someone with the skill set of KD or prime Dirk when he used to handle the ball on the break.

He failed as a GM & team president no debate about that. Not much success as a coach to me.

He had the youngest in league when he took over.
Steph smith, Ron artest, Jermaine oneal, the only old head was Reggie and maybe mark jackson, but after the first year he had them in playoffs, after that conference finals, the only reason they didn't go to finals that next year was because of that brawl with the pistons that got everyone suspended, that was there best team, not Thomas's fault that happened.

Yeah. Laimbeer was an anomaly. Pistons had had deadly duo James Edwards (inside) and Laimbeer (outside) at center. JE used to give Kareem fits with that post up fade away. Then laimbeer would give low post centers fits opening up the floor hitting 3s.

I felt it was totally unfair. :heh:

Exactly. Since you can't deconstruct their points, you Trump like yell "fake news" "propaganda."

If it doesn't agree with you, it doesn't count. That swhybtalks work you are worthless and you tell yourself you've never lost a discussion in here in five years
I don't even know what the points the vid attempts to make because I'm not watching the video. I suspect that the video has nothing to do with the number of quality teams now vs 20 years ago which is why I'm dismissing it as a deflection. Now if you want to concede that point s move a debate zone defense vs man to man or whatever, cool.

Sorry but the Orlando Magic 94-96 teams could score.

Golden state in 93 could score
The pacers could score
The Lakers 2000-2004 could score
The 2003-2005 sun could score
The 2000's mavericks could score

Plenty teams could score but now the defense is so the bad....who can't score?

Multiple people have explained it in this thread thread already. No need for me to reiterate.....

Handchecking and Zone defense together killed scoring to the point where there were offenses in the early 2000s were scoring at an all time low. Hence, the rule changes.

All Isiah was good at was drafting he has an eye for talent (Damon Stoudamire, Marcus Camby, Tracy McGrady, Trevor Ariza, David Lee, Wilson Chandler, Nate Robinson)...

His trades and contracts were awful and doomed the Knicks in the mid-to-late 2000's, he was a mediocre coach, Isiah also had a sexual assault lawsuit put on him and the franchise.

Jason Kidd wasn't stealing rebounds from bigs in the 90s now?
Lol exactly how do they think players like Magic, Kidd, Fat Lever, Oscar were getting all these boards?

It's not that bigs are "soft" and don't "box out" the Thunder want Westbrook nabbing boards so he can lead the break. Westbrook is also the most athletic player with the best motor on the floor some of the rebounds he nabs over multiple bigs including teammates are ridiculous.
