Wasn't even just Mike with the dream team shyt, Magic was the ringleader more than MJ. Lots of them nikkaz didn't like or fukk wit Zeke on the dream tram. That's too bad.

I always got the feeling that Mike wasn't really tripping like that and he would've gone along with it if others weren't trippin. He was just the one people pinned it to becuase he was the guy and they had that history. Also, I gotta say I look at Chuck a little funny over that shyt too. You coached them to play that way, you not only encouraged that renegade shyt but let it fly and then you take this gig when they are freezing out your guy? There is also so :mjpls: to the coach getting the spot on the team because of the winning while the top player is the black sheep because of the extracurricular shyt, that couldn't have happened without the coaches consent.

I never read that, but it makes sense at the time the dream team was preparing.
Isiah was dealing with injuries, dumars averaged 24ppg in 92 along with his top notch man to man defense.

The selections were made just after the 91 NBA Finals.

I would sympathize with Jordan more if he ain’t talk shyt about the Pistons after game 3.

But the real ire should be towards the media.
They talked shyt towards each other

Pistons always made slight jokes about Jordan and just about anyone else and they had the right to they were Champs.

But this was at the end of the series. Personally I don't see as much the big deal of them not shaking hands and I do feel the media put more on that then it was but from Jordan standpoint he feels if he has to swallow his pride and do the right thing for sportsmanship then they should too and in a sense I agree with him. But let's not post like the pistons didn't take they jabs too.

Joe Dumars said the handshake thing was an individual choice, Isiah led them and others followed. You can see Dumars shaking hands with Jordan after other Pistons left early.

Same thing with the Celtics in 88'. Bird and Ainge left early, but McHale basically gives Isiah a pep talk and shakes hands with scumbag Laimbeer.

Different people have said different things about it. Sam Smith said Jordan never actually said he refused to play with Isiah, that he just didn't want to play when there was an initial roster (behind the scenes) and Isiah was listed on it. Jack McCallum wrote in The Dream Team book that Jordan did tell him that he said he refused to play with Isiah.

Magic said that nobody on that team wanted to play with Isiah.

Yeah, and then Jordan said they were bad for the sport and weren’t worthy champions. Making snide jokes is one thing. Saying “your titles ain’t valid” is bullshyt.

The sportsmanship stuff to me is always lame, but I respect it from athletes more than I do media members. Especially in Jordan’s case since Dean Smith made such a profound impact on his life.

That’s not what happened.

McHale walked off the court following Bird and them. Isiah, thinking they were cool, intercepted him and that’s when McHale said that. Also remember, there was like 10 seconds left in that game too, so McHale had no intention of shaking hands.

TYRONE GA!
Both sides are bitter but to a different extent.

Jordan is bitter because he's just a bitter man  You've seen the Hall of Fame speech, he holds grudges forever. So of course he'll hold a grudge against Pistons.

But Isiah and Pistons are way more bitter because instead of being seen as one of the best teams in the history of NBA, they're just looked at as stepping stones for Bulls and MJ :mjlit:

So no doubt Isiah and the Bad Boy Pistons are way more bitter :umad:

Nah Bad Boys are a legendary team in their own right.
