From the beginning ISIS really was heavily funded off of donations from rich Wahabi terrorist supporters in Saudi Arabia. As they grew in notoriety they began to solicit more money from jihadi supporters across the globe. They also made a lot of cash off of capturing and ransoming hostages, especially Europeans who could net them millions of dollars in some cases. When they captured territory they began to exact heavy taxes off of the populations as well as sell oil from the drilling spots they captured, especially to Assad himself. They also captured a lot of military equipment from the fleeing Iraqi forces, some of which they kept to use and some of which they sold. As they lost territory their funding dried up a lot though, and now they're likely living mostly off of donations and stealing shyt from locals once again.

Yes Wahabi did donations from Qatar, UAE and Saudi Arabia. That is true. However we know Wahabi is sole controllers of the government's in these countries.
