Better to reign in Hell than serve in Heaven
funny thing about the love and hip hop thing is.............. HE WAS ACTUALLY LIVING OUT THE LYRICS EVERYONE LOVED FROM HIM!!! and they killing him for it

he did the conscious thing.. tried to stop the black on black gang shyt.. wanted black men to be better and be in their kids lives

so he goes on this show... and this groupie had his kid.. he was mad she wouldn't let him be there for the birth.. then didn't show him the baby till he was 8 months... he had only met her 3 times in life before she got preggo...

so dude asks for a paternity test... finds out its his... asks to take his kid to counseling cause he was LD... and then moved the whole family into his HOUSE... on some let me be a family man and support my family and my kid... even tho i don't even really know the broad

and nikkas and mostly women killed him for it... cause he would yell at her and call her names when she is obviously dumb and just some model hoe... but he didn't do one thing on that show that went against anything he rapped about

You can like something and still be a trend jumper breh.

Saigon was gone from Atlantic and they still had the album in hand. You guys can stop with the excuse. Just Blaze, the industry connected one of the two, couldn't get any label to back it. So yea, there is no way anyone can spin that it wasn't his fault at all. The not returning calls is a dikk move.
How do you know he wasn't returning calls

I think they're real friends not just old business partners

Just Blaze threw him a beat or co-production or something on his last album with full knowledge it would sell like a thousand copies tops, sounds like a friend to me

Also I think the story was Saigon was so desperate to get out the deal that he said he was free before all the paperwork and shyt was all done, what you think they just sat on the album for no reason? I doubt it

Dudes in here still not pointing out that Sai's career is the way it is because he never had a hit song....Just street bangers. His antics are irrelevant because history has proven that when u finally get a hit U can get away with being exposed as a prison CO..or he can get away with kissing another man...or he can get away with wearing a dress.

SMH @ the irony of everyone who gets a Just Blaze b4eat getting a hit accept the one rapper who had full access to Just Blaze

Just Blaze himself said he stopped taking his calls because he got aired out on social media and Saigon brought it up back in 06-07 too...I hate I even have to re-visit all this because it's so old and not some big deal....

Saigon said:
Look, the songs we have for the album I wrote and recorded realistically speaking, within the first year of the deal..I signed my deal november 24th 2004...Aside from a few word changes here and there or a feature or something, we basically have the same album we have had for almost 2 years. Thats why I have been complaining to EVERYONE for the past Year and a half or so about a release date......I didnt understand whywhen Just Blazeknows this, he would act as ifI was tripping...Then this writer from hiphopdx hits me on MySpace and says he is sorry if heruffled anyone's feathersbecause in his interview I stated Just Blaze ate my budget so I couldnt work with anyone else...First of all, everyone in our camp knew Just was getting 85% percent of the recording budget when we signed the deal....

Are you guys really going to continue to argue Just Blaze had nothing to do with this?

I am a legit Saigon and Just Blaze fan, that's how I can recall all this so easily.

He was producing and recording the whole album, he should've ate 100%

And Just Blaze had a response to that saying he did a bargain deal for beats and studio time

and was losing money on the studio time

I just think it speaks to how skilled Jay Z is (or was depending on your POV) when it comes to crafting a hit record.

Right but when he gave up on the project it torched it so how does Saigon get all the blame for that? Just Blaze knew he was a passionate/hot head. That is what makes his music good. One minute he's talking some conscious lyrics and the next he sounded like some low level goon from New York.

The travesty is Saigon didn't put any music out for a long stretch of time. I personally think he's talented.
