Do y'all understand just how fukking powerful dikk Halloran really is????

We are talking about possible Professor X shyt with him being able to convince a GOD he is something he's not.

Like... the implications are insane.

He dead ass might have ACTUALLY been able to convince IT that he really was Bob Gray.
As Dora said above, Danny and Abra are way stronger than dikk. Like if Halloran A tier, Danny is S and Abra SSS

Not really. He has a strong shine, but after seeing doctor sleep, it’s clear there are levels to this. Abra woulda faded Pennywise before it even got to needing to replace a pillar at the last minute, especially if she shows up as an adult.
Normally the older you are the less powerful Shine is which is why even Danny couldn't really beat ol girl. Abra on the other hand was when she bodied her off the first meeting :banderas:The Shine can easily have it's own show with Abra or even a new protagonist if they wanted. We really really really need that Dark Tower series I just hate that it's on amazon. :snoop:

It’s also a let down to see the Hanlon’s were thinking like stupid white people in not leaving and that’s why they’re there later on…everyone else black bounced, cmon sons!

Good ending despite being very unnecessary.
Everything about this can be summed up as "see? this ties up to the movie" or "remember that story that was summed up in 2 lines? well now it's 8 eps".

My boy Rich! :to: :blessed:

GREAT show. Felt like I was watching the HBO version of Stranger Things all throughout.

This show made me want to dive more into the IT lore. Definitely gonna go back and watch the movies again. They were filmed right in my old neighborhood in Toronto.

I didnt get the connection to the final epilogue scene in the finale because I forget everything about those 2 movies.

Im all in for more seasons. Truly the Golden Era of television. So much quality stuff out there. And we're in a Horror Renaissance

edit: HBO ... (Netflix?) Needs to do a Freddy Kruger TV show. So much potential. Looking froward to the A24 Jason Vorhees show. Horror genre is in good hands.

The book and all adaptations have a scene where adult Beverly meets Pennywise in the form of a random creepy old lady
who transformers to a creature with the voice of her dad.
They just built a whole backstory around that scene lol.

decent show. I don't know anything about Stephen King universe lore...but it seems they're setting something up with Hollaran with the friend who owns a hotel. One thing about that goodbye scene with him and Hanlon I though was some bullshyt...
they never thought to say "hey...before we dip out...maybe we should kill them crackers who torched the black spot.
that woulda put this series on another level.

Until he succeeds in season 3 which will allow them to reset a new movie franchise in whatever present time based on him not being defeated in the past, they can then milk the IP the way they’ve done the conjuring :wow:
Needlessly convoluted. The easiest and simplest way to make a sequel is to have one of the eggs that IT lays go unnoticed by the adult Losers' Club when they defeated her

Excellent Season finale, I like how they tie everything together with the other adaptions. Confirming that Richie from the losers club is Marge's future son and for those who didn't know Halloraan direct connection to the Shining.

Season 2 is the Bradley Gang Massacre from 1935, they got a tough act to follow.

Pennywise was skipping to go past the tree like:russ:
