I'm not convinced benching Steph midway through the first quarter against opposition starters is the right thing to do. The player whose name shouldn't be mentioned can't anchor the offense against starting units. It's why it makes sense to rest Steph during the start of the second and fourth quarters because that's when the opposition bench is typically in.

We shall see what unfolds over the next month.
