Isn't it alarming that a big with "the hips of a 90-year-old woman" makes more positive contributions to this team than someone who was hyped up to be the next great big man.....Chill, Looney is solid. He just has the hips of a 90 year old woman

I remember @BlaqkSpliffin trying to compare Wiseman to KG. Imagine KG needing to be rebuilt and taught the basics of footwork and all that comes with being a big man after his rookie season.it's not great.
But with Milojevic stressing footwork and fundamentals, hopefully we can see an improved Wiseman when he is ready to come back

For those who are down on Wiseman I want you to go take a look at what Kevin Garnett looked like as a rookie through his first 13 games.

For those who too lazy:
6.5 ppg
3.8 rpg
1.2 bpg

nikkas bringing up box score stats to compare KG and Wiseman....

It's almost like I'm comparing two 19 yr old high school players with similar measurables

Yet another reason folks need to stop putting so much emphasis on box score stats. They're not even remotely comparable.
Don't try it.
KG was one of the most advanced [rookie] bigs to step foot on an NBA court, in history.
Impeccable touch/hands, equally adept at facing and posting up, outstanding rebounding awareness, able to defend down low and out on the perimeter in equal measure, great feel for the game, smart playmaker, and just a high BBIQ on both ends of the floor. There was no doubt that he would turn into a star. Apart from a few athletic plays, Wiseman hasn't shown a cotdamn thing. He looks like the exact opposite as KG did as a rookie. I know y'all cats have high expectations for Wiseman, but slow your roll on that, cause he ain't fukking with KG (at the same stage), in any shape or form.

where'd u get that from?So let me get this straight and tell me if I’m off base or spot on.. So Weisman was strictly a Lacob pick and Meyers wanted to go with Lamelo?
I’m spit balling thoughtswhere'd u get that from?
it's a bit of revisionist historyI’m spit balling thoughts
Everyone question why take Weisman when Melo was clearly nba ready
It's simple really.I’m spit balling thoughts

Wiggins' defense is only good in a 1v1 setting; he rarely ever contributes to actual team defense. And he's not just on the squad for that, the Warriors traded for him to be the 2nd/3rd option, which he's never going to be if they have any hopes of winning a title.
It's been evident for a while now he just doesn't fit the team.
He's taking up too much of the cap just to provide defense.

kuminga, duhWho's going to play 1 on 1 defense on big wings if he's not there

Ideally, his trade replacement should be versatile enough to switch onto big wings, but if they're needed to handle 4s or 5s, then that's where OPJ, Iggy, and JTA all come in. Collectively, those three should be able to hold their own against the premier wings. I see it like this: someone like JTA isn't a better player than Wiggins, in a vacuum, but his contributions lead to greater impact than Wiggins', at a fraction of the price. Draymond often gets criticized for how far his offensive game has fallen off, but what he provides for this team is irreplaceable. Same goes for Steph. Same goes for Klay. Wiggins is taking up a similar portion of the cap, but even the role players have greater influence on winning than he does.Who's going to play 1 on 1 defense on big wings if he's not there

This is coming from someone that was once upon a time a fan of his, and expected/hoped he'd be the missing piece for this team, but I've had to acknowledge that's not going to be the case anymore.
