I'd imagine more injuries are going to happen because that's too much work for this talent. They are already working too hard as is, but they are trying to kill their talent at this point.

I almost see why pro-wrestlers back then were on something to get through it all. This is too f_cking much. :mindblown:

They absolutely have to let the creative team be creative for this brand split to work. Getting 2x the same formula with different colored banner heads will only make the product fatiguing and over saturated. But if they were to scrap preconceived trains of thought and work hard to fill that content and take that extra time to tell better stories, with completely different identities between the brands, plenty of healthy competition and making BOTH belts the holy grail, it could end up being the dopest thing ever.

Like, imagine if they seriously respect the brand split. A dude jumping ship to the other show after 5 years would feel like when a crazy NFL trade happens. There's a lot they can do right with this and a lot they can do wrong.

I guarantee it kicks off on the wrong foot because 40 year old Stephanie will be made too important.

Who do you like better on screen between her and Shane though?

To me she's way better. As a heel anyways.

Are u serious? This heel thing only mattered because she was opposite of Daniel Bryan in 2013.

Shes one of the top 3 worst things about the industry right now. No Sasha but i got Stephanie pretending to be a face every week? SCUST

I don't realy equate her being a heel to Bryan at all. I don't realy get what you mean by that. And her being on screen has nothing to do with Sasha.

I personally would like to see more wrestling. But if they insist on having an "authority figure" then I think she's ok. I find myself laughing at some of her promos. She knows how to work a crowd. She's better at that role than HHH. Shane is just bland right now. And Vince ain't about to be on tv every week.

Maybe u came in late and forgot how things were..Stephanie came back to no reaction every week that year. When Cripple H turned heel, she came out the night after Summerslam with the Best For Business tagline and the B plus player line (which is what Dave Meltzer labeled Cripple H in the dirt sheets for years and they were trying to be cute calling the WO best technical wrestler award winner for 10 years that title). Thats when she got booed out of the building. Being Bryan's nemeisis every week...thats how she came back to television and where the Authority came from. Thats how the Shield came up..it was all a foil to Daniel Bryan because he was so ridiculously over.

All of this started with him...

They basically need to repeat what they did in 2002. It's been said so many times upon the announcement of the new brand split. It's common sense....which means they most likely won't do it :snoop:

After the first brand split, both shows had different writers. Smackdown was blessed to have Paul Heyman as a head writer/consultant from 2002 to 2005. As a result, you could tell the difference in quality between the two shows. Raw had Triple H basically running shyt, and was more 'sports-entertainment' heavy with all the skits and segments involving dudes like Kane. Smackdown was more about the matches and had better-quality feuds with Lesnar, Angle and even Big Show.

That's what they should do now.

All the Authority/Reigns bullshyt they push on Raw? Let them keep pushing it....on Raw. ONLY Raw.

Smackdown needs to be the smark show. It HAS to be.

Otherwise this brand split is pointless from the fans' point of view.

imo they can't have it both ways. they can't have two separate brands AND share the big ppv events. either treat them as separate entities or don't.
