are you kidding me? yes Im black....100% BLACK...looking at your pic the same cannot be said for you so you might need to fall back looking like Shaun King nephew
So nothing to addYou comparing black people socioeconomic status to other black people in the past like I asked?
Nope
So go back and try again.
No you took what i said like thatyou say that like checks and balances dont exist
It's you with nothing to add.So nothing to add
So nothing to add
No you took what i said like that
Yet you've added nothing to the contrary and just insist on going back and forth with nothing. It's you with nothing to add.
Your basic argument is "since black people aren't on equal footing with white people, voting has never worked and never will work"
That's some ignorant shyt breh![]()
You realize those blood sweat and tears were spent so you can vote. And it's the votes that changed the laws right?Yet you've added nothing to the contrary and just insist on going back and forth with nothing.
I just told you the little crumbs we have now came from blood sweat and tears and not a vote and added facts.
You on the other hand are doing nothing but annoying me.
Also I never said voting will never work.
Stop changing my argument and add one of your own.
You realize those blood sweat and tears were spent so you can vote. And it's the votes that changed the laws right?
And being free to go to school and build a life for yourself is much more than "little crumbs"
Go tell the people who spent their blood sweat and tears that your current opportunities are "little crumbs"
What blood sweat and tears are you sacrificing since you aren't voting?
breh youre quoting is actually kind of right.yes. That's how voting works, dummy. And not 'vote and forget'. Vote and continually hold the candidate accountable.
This smart-dumb "i aint gon vote because it da system" is the stupidest shyt ever. Almost all the people who say that aren't involved in their communities, don't give a fukk and certainly don't see the bigger picture.
I have friends who have worked on Capitol Hill, dislike Obama (yet voted for him because he was the lesser of two evils), are very involved in their communities and are actively trying to change the system. Point is, they understand the political process and are involved.
Fake-deeps from the sidelines aren't.
Do you know how the American government works?Voting for president didn't change anything the fighting did. And I am still waiting on these laws.
Give back your freedom of its not working. And yes people fought to vote but what is your point? To keep going just out of tradition even though its not working?
No, we weren't.I'm pretty sure we were able to go to school and make money in our communities before voting.
Black business today is healthier than it's ever been in the past.Or are you talking about integration as if that stopped the terrorization of blacks and when we forfeited our own businesses to be with white people?
You have a really distorted view of history and the current status of black people. There were dozens maybe hundreds of thriving black communities before voting and integration now show me some thriving BLACK communities and not just us scattered about and still getting shyt on. And its like you didn't read the stats I just provided you.
Talking about voting is your personal life. Also stay on topic and don't deflect to my personal life.
protesting and all that was the right move back in those days. You realize those blood sweat and tears were spent so you can vote. And it's the votes that changed the laws right?
And being free to go to school and build a life for yourself is much more than "little crumbs"
Go tell the people who spent their blood sweat and tears that your current opportunities are "little crumbs"

Black folks problem is that we have no real leverage.
We have to beg for everything.
The government really cant give you anything worth while.
People forget, the government is:
The police
Judicial System
Section 8
Public Schools
Medicare
IRS
etc...
These are all systems NOBODY wants to deal w/ unless they have to.
Why would you choose to depend on that?
A vote for Bernie is literally voting your freedom away. Especially as a black person.
Why would you want to government to have more power over your life?
Bernie constantly says he's going to tax the rich...
but everybody pays.
Every major city nickel and dimes you with fees and taxes for everything you buy.
Ask anyone w/ a car or house in a major democratic city...they take every dime from you whenever they can.
If you buy a house for $150,000 in Illinois....your monthly taxes will be something like $700....that is fukkin crazy!!!
shyt like that effects everyone...not just the rich.
Plenty has changed, this is just an untrue assertion.protesting and all that was the right move back in those days.
this is a new time.
The reason black folks back then marched was because we needed basic laws on the books to make it so it was illegal to hold us out.
but after that...its time to compete economically....
....we still havent begun that stage of the game.
We are still doing the same shyt from the 60's....and not much has changed...because you cant keep creating laws.
No. Gays got the support of the majority through protest and voting. Gay people themselves don't have enough money to move the needle. They didn't get rights until they convinced the majority, the general public to support them.People of underclasses need to embrace entrepreneurship...and then get back into politics.
Look at every other minority group...even gays.
They all went the business route first...and then went the political route.
1. What is your point? Forcing someone to do something does not mean they helped you. If we did nothing else and just voted it wouldn't have happened. And I am STILL waiting on these laws.Do you know how the American government works?
Any law that has helped black people(or anybody else for that matter) has had to be approved by the president.
After the fighting it still take a politician to pass the law.
Give back your freedom of its not working.
No, we weren't.
Black business today is healthier than it's ever been in the past.
You have a really distorted view of history and the current status of black people.
Talking about voting is your personal life.
If you feel voting is worthless you must be doing something else to improve our plight.
Plenty has changed, this is just an untrue assertion.
