Well in Hollywood he didn't instantly recover, he had to lay low and was temporarily bushed.
And his best movie in the last 20 years, Emancipation, got overlooked completely.
Plus some movies he had in production were then cancelled.
In terms of audience, the majority of black people SUPPORTED Will and will always support Will. The same with Will's INTERNATIONAL audience. Because of the WORK we grew up seeing him put in. It was only Black comedians who he got heat from because to them he attacked a comedian making "a joke".
Most Women had empathy as they saw a man standing up for his wife.
