Kobe is more fun to watch cause he forces and makes a lot of bad shots:yeshrug:
If I was gonna watch a game I'd wanna watch Kobe play
If I was on a squad and I wanted to win I'd have to take Bron

And yet NBA players say the opposite.

If you wanna win, they go with Kobe. If you wanna have fun, they go with LeBron.

Only thing Kobe has over Bron is shooting and Bron already has more FMVPs, more MVPs and is shytting all over Kobe stat and records-wise. Kobe has more Defensive team selections, but everyone knows that Bron is a better defender so idk how the NBA fukked that one up...

Edit: He also has more rings, but he was riding bytch for 3 of them so idk if you can count those and the nikka came up mighty small in TWO finals losses...

lebron is not a better defender than kobe

Wait...a three-year old video with a nonsensical vague answer from a low-percentage shoot-first guard like Kobe is the reason to start a thread?

:dead:

Ignore the video starts with "If Lebron already had his prime", and it's back in 2014, before he even beat the Warriors for his third title and best performance ever.

Ignore "If you're trying to build from the beginning and you need an all-around player, you go with Lebron."

Ignore "At the end of the day, it all depends on how you start your lineup."

"In their prime, who's better? Probably...Kobe. I mean, all around, you know, he's just a better player, in the sense of skill-worth, knowledge, you know...but it's hard to knock what Lebron does, Lebron is amazing, what he's good at, that's what he is."

For a Coli Kobestan, that "says it best". :heh:

Give me the list of ballers who have actually said that since Lebron came back against the Warriors and won his third title. Give the actual quotes post-2016.

Then take off all the guys who were Kobe's teammates, and the low-percentage volume shooters who just want that kind of game to get repped. Who do you actually have left?

kobe isnt a low pertcentage shooter wtf are you talking about

lebron is not a better defender than kobe

Lebron is better at defending 1's, 3's, 4's, 5's, and at anchoring a team defense and protecting the rim.

Kobe is better at defending 2's.

Lebron had a much, much greater defensive impact than Kobe. By the time the Lakers were "Kobe's team", management was making a point of getting defensive specialists like Artest and Ariza who consistently guarded whichever swing player was the greater offensive threat while Kobe guarded the easiest responsibility. Lebron, meanwhile, is still out there at the age of 32 acting as most important defensive player on his team, at least on the perimeter/swing for certain.

Every single year from when he tried to take over the team in 2004 until his final injury-free year in 2012, Kobe shot worse from the field on average than his teammates. That is what I mean by a low percentage shooter. He wasn't as bad as many, but Kobe is certainly emulated by players who want you to look at their ppg and ignore their shooting %'s.

When LA lost to my hometown in 04' Finals Luke was the only other player to play the next season in LA. Kobe legit had a championship team built from the ground up in 4 years. I don't think that's ever been done. Another thing people say Bron makes teammates better, but I think Kobe makes his teammates even better. Kobe never had the teammates (including Shaq) Bron has had. Kobe never had to luxury to pick and choose his shots like Bron did in Miami or Cleveland

All three of those were from long before he beat the Warriors and won his third ring.

Try again.

Stephen Jackson, Chauncey Billups, and Charles Barkley all said Kobe was better just a week ago.

Stop with this fiction. I'm sure Dirk, Wade, and KD would say the same shyt today. When they said Kobe was the best they cited his superior skill level. Beating an overrated Warriors team that most legends didn't respect isn't gonna help LeBron catch up to Kobe's superior skill.

Co-sign.

People should look back at those 2009 and 2010 Lakers teams. Outside of the 2011 Mavs, that's probably the least talented supporting cast for a championship team since 2000. And the fact Kobe went back to back with that squad makes it more impressive than Dirk winning once.

People think assists make your teammates better. That's not true. Kobe's dominance as a scorer brought him so much attention from opposing teams that it made life easier for him teammates. That is why players like Gasol, Bynum, and Odom had career seasons statistically playing next to Kobe. LeBron can't say this. Great players like Wade, Bosh, and Love all saw their stats drop significantly playing next to LeBron because his style only makes spot up shooters better.

Its easier to build a championship team around Kobe than LeBron.

Another thing that's crazy Kobe teammates were all in their 20's and was on championship teams. But like 2 to 3 years later almost all of them was out the league or couldn't crack a rotation . Ariza is like the only one to have success on his own and even he attributed that success to Kobe.

Give me the quotes of who has said such a thing since his 3rd championship. Lebron's skill level hasn't stayed the same either.

Barkley said Lebron was more talented than Kobe way back in 2014. Did Kobe somehow change his mind and get better since then? Did Lebron get worse?

You mean other than Pau Gasol, who was still making All-Star teams and anchoring playoff contenders a good 5-6 years later? :gucci:

As far as everyone else goes, since they were already failing alongside Kobe in 2011-2013, it's hard for me to see "being without Kobe" as the reason for their failures. Bynum ended up being a POS once he got the big contract, all the others faded in their early 30s like a lot of players do.

Pau anchoring a team :mjlol:

Any toughness he had playing with Kobe was gone as soon as Pringles took his soul away. Pau was a huge dissapointment in the Chi
