His 2016 album was fire...i like his woke shyt. I do get what you mean, i got his discography recently and his albums i cant stomach too much off at once but most of his singles are lit.

I feel like Busta Rhymes suffers from this too. His singles are lit but when it comes time to actually listen to the whole album its another story.

now you got lex lugar using sound packs and VST for fruity loops, once that shyt got old he fell off, because he was hip to the newest sound packs

but like another user said, the 90s was all about the legitimate street (trap) rap. The 2000s was all about music videos on cable tv, MTV, VH1 and BET. It does seem like were goin back to that 90s gritty rap era with this new drill music.
