I live in NY and never met anyone like this, growing up we went on field trips to various places thought the city and I went to public schools in the hood I always heard these types of people exist on Northeast cities though.

I never been to the Statue of Liberty either, I went to the Empire State Observation deck before and I think I was the only native NYer there

My school took us on field trips to museums and the Botanical Garden on various occasions as well, but as an adult all that stuff does not interest me anymore.

Yea, as an adult the only museum I care to visit is the museum of Natural History, don't care to visit any of the others If I had kids I would take them to museums though, but it isn't as fun going by yourself as an adult.

I kinda wanna visit the Museum of Sex, that fact such a museum exists here in the city is IDK I would feel like a pervert visiting such a museum.
